Ružička is about the little things that make a big difference

The story of Ružička

Crochet, for me, was never just about the result.

It's a moment of calm, focus and the joy of creating. At the same time it brought me beautiful shared moments with my 10-year-old daughter. She's the one who taught me the basics of crochet. Together we enjoyed picking out yarn, learning new patterns, and coming up with new creative ideas.

Gradually, though, I started noticing that something was always missing when I crocheted. Things didn't have their place, I was searching for tools, the yarn got tangled, I was missing the right needle for finishing… and the whole pleasant moment was suddenly all about small little distractions.

So I started creating my own solutions — practical, functional, but also beautiful. That's how the first set came to be, where everything had its place and made sense as a whole.

Alongside that I was crocheting gifts for family and close friends. And I noticed one thing — the greatest joy didn't come from the item itself, but from how it was given. When it was coordinated, thought through and had a personal detail, it felt completely different.

That's when two things came together — practical sets for creating, and gift sets with emotion. That's how the Ružička brand was born.

Today I create sets that bring together handmade work, thoughtful details and function as one whole. Whether it's tools for crocheters and knitters or themed gift sets for the home, for coffee, tea or wine, each one has the same goal — to be not only beautiful, but also usable and ready to give.

Every set has been tested in real use. I tried them out myself, and so did other crocheters, so that they make sense not only on the eye but especially in practice.
